Challenging poetry, but with a distinctive voice. Forgarty has a way of connecting words together that feel vocally clunky, like you are stuttering when reading. Some beautiful imaginary but I felt a yearning for more self analysis or truth telling. An important Indigenous text that expands poetic boundaries. It was not an enjoyable read, but It will be in my subconscious for many days to come. Worth a re-read in a few years.
