What happened??
The author's decision to introduce a new main character was a poor choice indeed!
Considering how much I really enjoyed Runemarks, I'm shocked I couldn't manage to make it through the duology. For me, personally, I had problems with Maggie .
Maggie was hard to read. The readers were promised a 'fiesty new heroine' and instead what we got was a naive and weak girl who's ready to follow a boy she's just met blindly. She dicards her beliefs, cuts her hair and falls in love with someone who *itch slaps her across the face!? Oh and this is all within just a couple of days - Yea, no thanks.
I don't know, maybe it's just me but reading this book made me feel uncomfortable. What a let down.
So it's a DNF.
