While not my favourite of Rollins' books, this was a fun read, and a good introduction to the Sigma Force series for me. The plot involves a good dose of science - a norm for Rollins - alongside lots of action. The main characters were enjoyable, if a bit predictable, but I read these books for the great science-based action, not for huge character development. I also appreciate that the characters discuss, if somewhat briefly, the ethics of the science being done. As always, I love the end notes from the author with info on the science included and where to read more.
