Leadership tips told in a story format that is easy to follow. I can definitely see seasoned leaders finding this basic but as a new leader, I appreciated the unique format. It was a quick read and I learned a few key things.

Patrick Lencioni knows how to tell a fable.

Great book and the leadership lessons are truly embedded in the story. I love the story of new CEO taking over her executive team, and working through their dysfunctions, most of which they are completely oblivious to. The book is hard to put down, and that is hard to say for business books.

I agree with the author's assesment of how important team work is, and the examples, and conversations and dialogues make it a very good read, with lots of lesson to learn. This is sadly something that is not examined well in corporate environment and teams have lost a lot of spirit and enthusiasm and THIS is a book that your boss and his boss need to read rather than you, the employee! :)

So I highly recommend it for you if you are sitting in a management chair at a company!

DID NOT FINISH: 57%

Was reading for class.

Used it for all the assignments I needed it for.

It was overdue.

Returned to library instead of finishing.

It wasn’t that good anyway.

Very smart book. I can really see how these five dysfunction plague many of the institutions in which we work. Well worth reading.
