informative medium-paced

It's always difficult to be entertaining while also being a career focused book. I would say this book was pretty good for what it was. I liked the example given and it was interesting seeing the different personalities at play. I couldn't relate to everything because I'm not on an executive team, but in my day to day a lot of similar dysfunctions come up. I notice some of them in myself as a team member - which I will work to fix - and some of them in others. I think the most interesting take away I had was that a meeting should have productive conflict -most of the time- to have a point. I will definitely be keeping these in mind when I interact with peers and managers.

This was an easy, interesting read. My concern is applying it in an actual working environment might be rather difficult. I'm going to pass it on to my colleagues.

So. Good. Read it and re-read it and then reflect, and then implement immediately.

Read for my doctoral program; once more this could have been a blog post. The longer fable/narrative structure helped flesh it out in an interesting way at least. Still, it's a management self-help book. Not much more to say there.

Read this for PD for my school. It was good, but some of the methods do not align for education, IMHO.
Definitely picked up some nuggets for how to effectively run my team.
