Claudia Gray truly knows how to make you fall in love with every character she writes. Into the Dark is such a lovely Star Wars adventure that captures a readers sense of wonder. Thank you Claudia Gray for creating a book that feels so tailored made for me :’)) I truly cannot wait til Into the Light!!!!!!!

Definitely my favorite from the High Republic era so far! Did a better job balancing developing the world AND developing fun original characters.

GEODE…wait for it…ROCKS. Seriously, Geode fangirl over here. Love that snarky navigator. I need merch. Let’s go, people!!

Claudia Grey continues to write sci fi that is so fun and easy to read but that still holds all of the great philosophical questions that are essential to sci fi. This was my first Star Wars novel but I trusted Claudia Gray to write it in a way that was accessible and entertaining and she did not disappoint. If you read this because you like Star Wars and you enjoyed it you should consider some of her other books! My favorites are the Defy the Stars trilogy. If you’re considering reading this because you like her other books but aren’t sure about Star Wars, give it a chance and I think you will find as I did that her best storytelling still comes through!

Took me a while to get into, but once I did, it was SO GOOD. That ending

reath my ultimate beloved pookie (as of now)… i hope we get to see more of him

Well that took longer than expected. Lol The beginning felt slow but the last half of the book became easier to read. There were some twists which was kind of predictable but overall, I don’t regret reading it
