Is this book had at least a hundred pages less I could say it was a solid "action book". Unfortunately this drags so bad. The characters are okay but there's so much stuff involving the secondary characters that really hurts the pacing, specially when scenes from the main characters are stop dead on their tracks to tell you some non-sense about the masters. That gets worse when they tell you flash-backs of a previous adventure where a master died.
The fact that I started this in october of 2021 and finished it on february of 2023 is proof enough of how much of a chore this was.
