This was a really good book. reminded me a little of goosebumps, but it was really good. I knew what was going to happened, but still enjoyed the book. prefect book for Halloween.

2.5 stars. It's just an ok story, not unique or risky in any way. It dragged about 3/4 of the way through and could have been tightened up with more editing.

My Booktube
ok listen was not expecting to get into my feels but I did towards the end.

I did like this, and this was geared towards a younger audience so I'm sure its actual age range will also love it!

(Since I'm an adult, I feel like I saw the twist coming very early, but I could def see how a younger audience might not see it coming).

This was a super quick, fun little spooky read, and I really enjoyed it! Having grown up on Goosebumps, it was nice to see a new author doing something similar that's more updated for today's kids (with pop culture references, mentions of his iPad and cell phone, etc.). Of course, everything felt very predictable and the ending was cheesy and over-the-top, but in that quintessential, delightful middle grade way that I enjoy so much. I highly recommend this for anyone who generally enjoys MG horror, and I especially recommend the audiobook, where the narrator did a great job.

Thank you so much to LibroFM for providing me with this ALC in exchange for an honest review!

This was the cutest book ever.. it had the perfect amount of spook in it and I'm pretty sure I'm going to binge this series now. I loved goosebumps as a kid and I wanted that nostalgic feeling and this gave it to me.
