I rate this 4.5*

I found this book to be insightful. It was angry, powerful and all things I could easily relate back to. This book makes a lot of sense, and is one that that I implore anyone who is thinking about reading it to read it. It does get convoluted at times if you are reading it before bed when you are tired, but it is worth it.

I recommend this book to anyone interested in racism, communism, decolonialization and is not looking for a bedtime story. This is a book you will want to write down quote after quote because he says things that you will want to repeat again and again. The forward is also rather interesting, do not skip it.

A powerful and important work on the shared experience of colonized peoples.

It’s so gargony it’s difficult at times to understand but beautifully written and deeply informative. Relevant to other colonialist countries ie AUS
