En general me ha gustado bastante, poli que se salta todas las reglas pero le mantienen en los casos por su manera original de pensar está un poco ya demasiado visto pero.... aquí el autor le da una vuelta y me ha gustado su resolución, Tilly es una versión descafeinada de Soga Norén (serie de tv Sueca-Danesa, Bron-Broen) a la que coges cariño. No es un libro de 5 estrellas pero le doy 4 y seguiré leyendo la serie.

I'm not sure if this book is Craven's debut work but if it is, then it's certainly a gem. The beginning of the book was awesome and I really liked how the detectives gradually figured out the solution. Problem is that Craven tried a bit too hard midway and I was screaming the name of the murderer within my head before the book even ended. I'm also not too much a fan of book heroes treading in the grey area though it seems that it's popular in recent years.
Setting the minor problems aside, this book is really good in all other aspects. There is strong characterization, expression of emotions, and intricate plot that keep readers wanting to know what happens next. The crimes are staged in an interesting part of the country and I like the fact that there is no diversion so that the whole book is focused on the investigation of only one crime. This may not be realistic but it's something I prefer (rather than hitting multiple targets and often missing some, it's better to aim at just one and hit right on target).
The implications of the filthy political atmosphere is also an interesting addition. Truth is we all know in real world, rich people can get away with a lot of things but I believe in justice and I also believe that somehow, one way or another, justice will be served, just that it may not be as straightforward as we often hope for.
I'm looking forward to the next installment in the series though I dread how it may turn out. I just hope Poe and Tilly will still work as a team.
