I could not get over the fact that this books opens with the main character getting engaged at the (nearly empty) Rockefeller ice skating rink in front of the Rockefeller Christmas tree in New York City BEFORE Thanksgiving. And that all the other skaters randomly join in an almost synchronized dance.
Has this author ever been to New York in December? Did she do any research? Because the tree doesn’t get revealed until the week after Thanksgiving and there’s no way the characters would have had room to breathe let alone get down on one knee in front of it. And there’s no way that that would be old money New York Edward’s first choice of proposal site.
Harry also spends way too much time lusting after her future father in law who is essentially described as Jeff Bezos and I could not understand why she kept going in and on about how hot Jeff Bezos was.

Interesting read, interesting plot but some of the characters got on my nerves. I gave this book a 3.71 out of 5 star rating.
