I enjoy the Percy Jackson books. This book has a similar style. I liked that although it was similar, he re-invented his story-telling technique to bring us a new adventure. Red Pyramid felt a little more mature read yet children are able to comprehend what is happening as well. I enjoyed this book because I am glad that the author is using different mythology in each series. I learn more about each culture and that makes the story more unique. First we had the Greek mythology, now it's the Egyptian mythology.
