Sweet, but I couldn’t vibe
Honestly I feel bad, because this was a free read, but it's my honest opinion.
While I write this it's been a few days since I finished the book and I can remember following:
A Hockey Player (with type one diabetes) meets
A Drag Queen with low self esteem (Because the homophobic family is such a shit show)
and loves him for whom he is.
This clashed unfortunately with my super personal opinion to just cut ties with your abusive toxic family if it's that bad. But I can also understand that it's not often that easy. But still...it kinda made me angry AF
I'm also not the biggest fan of the "need a strong alpha male to see, that I'm worth something" trope
