“I never need wake from the dream.”
UGH. The way I absolutely LOVED this book. Juniper and Marrex definitely had the Beauty and the Beast first part going with how angry and isolated Marrex was, but they also nailed down that they both fell in love because they were each others person. Also, I'm pretty sure Junipers outfits were a HUGE turning point.

This SFF retelling of the classic story was sweet, sexy and fun. While I loved both Beast (Marrex) and Beauty (Juniper) it was the two AI's who stole the show. I loved them both!

This was cute like Star Wars meets Beauty and the Beast.
But even though those two are some of my favorites, I wasn't in love with this. For me, the story was a bit rushed and the romance started a bit too soon.

Oh wow, this was an awesome, sci-fi take on Beauty and the Beast. It was so much fun reading this book and I wish it was longer. The AIs were adorable and so was Marrek.

Recommend for fairytale lovers

Surprisingly sweet Beauty and the Beast fairytale with a sci-fi twist! I could definitely see all the parts from various versions I’ve read. I really liked the MC’s as well as S1N and VAL the AIs.

Beauty and the Beast set in space! The AI/ship tech duo were so sassy and cute. Very fun addition to the story. This has a bit sweeter of a Beast than the Disney version, and a lot worse family for the Beauty.

Michael F did a great narration, as always! Short and fun.

This was such a fun and adventurous re-telling of Beauty and the Beast in space!!
I can't deny that I am obsessed with the way Bey Deckard narrates a story. The character designs are always interesting and the world building is creative!

So after reading a few darker books by Bey I loved to get this sweet and lighthearted side of him.

We get a wholesome Grumpshine couple and super fun side characters that just made me laugh out loud a few times!!
I read this book a few weeks ago and have
1. still vivid pictures of scenes in my head, which is always a good sign!!
2. fond memories of some conversations within the story!
3. I'm still smiling while writing this and lord, let me overshare: I'm currently in a depressive episode and this book gave me most definitely some endorphins I needed really really badly!!

So, long story short!
This is just an adorable re-telling with a human that accidentally meets a Beast(!) of a Captain on a space-ship, sweet wooing, a bit angsty and a really satisfying HEA !

note: xenophilia, alien/human, "monster"/human, forced proximity, age gap (...)
While the whole story is rather lighthearted there were a few short scenes of abuse/neglect of a sidecharacter by other side characters but the MCs will do justice!!
