This instalove I was less on board with in the beginning, compared to the last book, but by the halfway point of the story I was rooting for them. I liked that Psyche was an expert game player compared to Persephone. What world do they live in? Is there magic of some sort? Who the fuck knows lol A thrilling romance with a good enough plot.

Eros' constant chorus of "I'm such a monster" was tiresome, but I loved Psyche and the fat-positivity in this book.

I spent most of the book yelling at these two idiots to admit they have feelings for each other. Plot was secondary

EROTICA... The "scenes" are so good. A fast read for sure. I only rated it the way I did because something about the description of the characters really threw me off and rubbed me the wrong way. The way that the author described the characters was different than it usually is and it just seemed very odd to me.
Otherwise a great quick smutty little read.

The scene where Psyche talks about her lotion made me cackle. Also really loved that we get to see Psyche's relationship with her body image, both positive and negative. It seemed more real than making her feelings about her weight purely one way or the other. But I also liked that this exploration wasn't made her focal point. Her cunningness and kindness and the way they clash and intertwine are what makes her an interesting character throughout instead.
Again, 100% stan the dynamic between these characters. I love the shift that happens in Eros in particular as their relationship progresses and he realises what he really wants.
Hades and Eros = Biggest Simps For Their Wives Club. When Eros started calling her Wife it was *chefs kiss*

  • Authentic representation of plus sized women.
  • Very good. Shouldn't have worried that much. Still liked the first one better tho, but i can't explain why. Both were good.
  • Marriage of convenience.
  • I love the way Katee Robert describes her characters (because she doesn't really assume the default white person, and starts by mentioning the skin color of a person) + the casual queerness of this. I really want to read more by her.
