I think this book got away from the author. The writing deteriorated and the plot was weaker, more predictable and also started to feel repetitive.

Pleased to say I enjoyed this a lot more than the first book. Super fast paced, lots going on that kept me on my toes.
I still missed the depth within the world and character building that I long for in a romantasy but appreciate that this is a YA duology.
A fun read, I wish so badly that I felt the chemistry between the main characters but if you want a relatively easy and quick romantasy series to read then this is the one for you.

This was so bad. I enjoyed it immensely.
This was just as fun as the first one! I really enjoyed this read.
I couldn't give it 5 stars because I was able to guess every single "twist" and it was missing the "wow" factor, but I would definitely reread the duology and recommend it to others.
I love the world the story is set in and the characters.
