This book is a mess. There's 3 timelines to follow, none of them are fleshed out or even explained. I would be lost if I hadn't read a little blurb in the beginning giving a summary, which I missed when I first read the book.
I need to give credit though, there are some snippets of fantastic storytelling I really enjoyed. The art is Amazing throughout. It's like getting hit by jaw dropping sci fi imagery one after another, but I feel nothing because the story gives me no context or reason to care.
I wanted to like this one so much, the art almost pushed it to 3 stars.
