I became interested in reading this book because it happened locally. I remember the house very well when it still stood on 19th Street in Watervliet. I had a bit of trouble getting into the book at first, but as the story progressed I could not put it down. The story is terrifying and heartbreaking to read. I'm looking forward to reading the sequel!
