A good sampler, but would have preferred more historical. Just my preference.

I loved that it was a compilation of love centered stories that come from various sub-levels of romance. There's story lines set during the 1800s of Victorian-style England, paranormal romance involving vampires mixed with a little action worked into the plot. There was one story that rubbed me the wrong way. Jennifer Ryan's Saved By the Rancher is about a woman who made the mistake of marrying a rich guy who physically abuses her and still terrorizes her after their divorce. I have inklings about how the story goes down, but we'll have to see. Several of the excerpts are from books that are not yet published. I am excited to see what happens in each one, in any case.
