This is my second ARC w A.M. Eno and again I adore. I cannot waaaait for the next novella or the full length book!!!!!!
This book was definitely a change in speed, and I absolutely loved it. That ending had me in tears. Layshan had found what he needed, A HOME♥︎ I haven't read the others' book, but I am currently downloading them to read them this week. It's such a beautiful story, well written, and I loved every chapter.
I received an advance copy for free provided by the author, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This story follows a young boy named, Layshan, who is living in what sounds like a home/orphanage. He does what he can to survive and get by in life. He is then provided with what sounds like a “too good to be true” opportunity to make a better life for himself.
Layshan to me takes a walk on a very fine line of what he thinks is morally right for him. He has done many things for himself to survive, but he also doesn’t sound like a kid that is necessarily bad.
We are also introduced to a few set of characters that are in the story with Layshan. One of them is named, Ra. He initially becomes close to this boy and almost finds some sense of “family”, care, and safety. We follow his journey in closing an old chapter of his life and starting a new one. This book has a great story when it comes to newfound family, magic, being morally grey, trauma, and starting all over.
I also feel like this story reminds me a little bit of the book Divergent, the movie Fight Club and the show Hanna. It’s a wonderful Novella and the fourth one! I will definitely be reading the other three! I enjoyed it very much, and it is also not a very long read! The great part of this Novella is that you can read it as a stand alone. You don’t need to read the priors to enjoy this story! This deserves a 4 stars from me!

Super cure short story. If you looking for a found family...this is it
This is a spoiler-free review!
I had the privilege of reading an ARC of Creation of a Fated Thief, the fourth installment of the Thaumorian Legends series by A.M. Eno.
With this series, Eno has created an immersive world that keeps growing. I’ve enjoyed getting to know Thaumoria through each book.
Creation of a Fated Thief follows Layshan, a teen orphan in Thaumoria, and allows us to watch him establish found family. Several of the other main characters from this series make an appearance in this installment and become a part of Layshan’s family.

This novella is extremely face paced which I loved. I also enjoyed the found family aspect of it. The story follows Layshan who has air wielding magic and is an orphan as he try's to figure out his place in the world, while living his life of solitude. Ra and Layshan friendship that grows in this is so sweet and I just loved that! Elemental magic of course as we travel back to the world of Thaumoria. I love how these novellas are getting us ready for the debut novel and I cannot wait!!!

I received this book as an ARC from the author.
I have not read the other novellas in the series, but I will be adding them to my Kindle after finishing this one! I wish this novella had been longer - I know... that's the point of a novella, but I need more of these characters!
This is a short, 67 page/8 chapter, read and there's so much in that short span of pages that leaves you wanting more. I finished the book last night, and haven't stopped thinking about the characters and what's coming next, which has prompted me to find the other novellas on Amazon and add them to my TBR.
I hope this series of short stories becomes an entire novel/series, as I need to know more about this world and the people who live in it!
I rated this book a 4-4.5/5 stars. I loved the character development and the world that this part of the story is set. If you are a lover of magic and fantasy, this is something you could pick up. I would recommend this to a friend, for the reasons I just listed and because I need someone to talk about it with!
I look forward to continuing my way through this world and look forward to reading the next installment soon.

Creation of a Fated Thief is the fourth novella (there will be five total) before A.M. Eno’s first full novel in the series- The Death Bringer (I cannot WAIT).
I adore all the covers in this series. They are absolutely stunning!! This novella is a beautifully written short story of resilience and friendship. You will follow an Air Wielding orphan, Layshan, as he navigates the complexities of loyalty and identity in a city where everyone is fighting to find their place.
I highly recommend the Thaumorian Legend series!
