I loved Morana even though I kept thinking her name was Morena. I love her pattern of thinking and her strength. Her character was so realistic and human. Tristan was so confusing and mysterious and I felt nothing great towards him until we got his history. That plot twist was truly something special and a one of a kind story. While I do not know if I am all here for their romance despite their electric connection, I am very interested in the world. It was such a good paced story with high action to keep you on your toes at every moment.

Okkay so I know that after I clear my lust hazed brain I would start rethinking about my opinions on this one but for now ? I freaking loved it.
How do i even begin to explain how obsessed i am with this book, i devoured this like it was my last meal, Tristan the predator Caine 🧎🏻♀️ this man barely speaks and he still has me in a chokehold, the tortured and scarred mmc will always have me i fear, the knife to the throat scene in chapter 1 oh i was sat 🤭 this is how you do enemies to lovers, i could literally feel the tension between them seeping through the pages, the hatred mixed in the desire is just something else, two rival mafia families, the writing, the vibes, the plot I’m speechless tbh, i love Morana but Amara had my heart since the moment i met her and i truly cannot wait for her and Dante’s book 🤭

This started a bit slow for me, and the third person pov it’s told in stopped me from being really invested in the book at first, but I’m ngl I loved it. The storytelling was rlly good, the only thing I wish is that we got Tristan’s pov, not just Morana.
