I don’t even know what to write for this review, as I still haven’t fully processed this book. I feel like I could read this book 5 times and still not be able to process it. I’m convinced that this book is unlike anything I’ve ever read before or anything that I’ll ever read in the future. Just wow wow wow. The Acknowledgements from Olivie Blake also totally had me in my feelings too

Undeniably beautifully written with very strong and poetic moments.

My main issue is that I never really managed to connect with the characters— which is, I guess, the point, considering their respective personalities and issues.

This book is interesting in an intriguing but also confusing and aloof sort of way, which makes it unfortunately very easy to put down. I never felt the urge to pick it back up (but didn’t want to dnf either, as it was still an unique story).

Average 3 stars.
