“He kisses her, thinks, Go on, ruin me. Wreck me, please.
She kisses him back and she does.”

OUCH
Reading this felt like reading “Normal People” by Sally Rooney except I don’t feel like I got hit by a bus at the end. This book is beautiful and magical and so intimate. I’m going to need some time to recover.

note the date started!!! i couldn’t finish it once i got halfway. then i thought i’d give it a second chance by rereading it from the top on january 17th. i’d actually give it more than a 3 stars, like a 3.5 because it didn’t actually suck. it started beautifully, i was so into it but then by the second half it just was so hard to continue reading i was so confused

i wanted to like this book because jack edwards gave it a 5 stars but i couldn’t

i very much dislike the writing style (it seems a bit pretentious) and i didn’t like either of the two characters or their relationship with each other. both were pretty insufferable.
