This was absolutely adorable.  It was enchanting and adventurous all the while being wholesome and tense at times. 

The characters were detailed and lovable.  I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this book, the plot and setting made this high fantasy all the more enjoyable.

There were The Little Mermaid vibes but gayer and much more interesting with the magic.  It was really cute.

It's a cute and quick read. The plot is quite predictable, but the characters are likeable. The resolution of the main conflicts could've used some more refinement.

though fantasy is not really my cup of tea, i still really enjoyed this book. in the middle i felt it was dragging a bit but the last โ…“ or so catched me again. overall very sweet, i really liked all the main characters, good enjoyable read!

I could not stop freaking out over this? I can confidently say this is one of my favorite books Iโ€™ve ever read and is it that good you ask? No! I JUST LOVE IT! SO MUCH!

This was such a fun little fantasy fairytale. Very on theme with the new little mermaid movie that has just come out as well. A bit more action based that your typical cosy fantasy but I would still classify it as such. Honestly I don't have that much to say other than this was very enjoyable and cute and fun and twisty at some points with just the tiniest hint of political moves for intrigue and plot purposes. A fun, light, and romantic read which I really needed.

I'm finding that I really love F.T. Lukens' books for shorter, fun, romancey fantasy reads! I loved all of the characters in this, and especially loved the sibling dynamics! It's definitely predictable, and has some holes, but that's the fun of the HEA ๐Ÿ˜‰
