I will give this a more comprehensible review for this upon returning to my home instead of trying to type a review up while at the gas station, but I throughly loved and enjoyed this book.

Alright, let's try this now that I am home. I LOVED listening to the story about Rashad and Quinn. This book is very easy to consume as an audiobook, and I would also recommend listening to it if you can because it made the message hit so much harder and feel so much more powerful because you got to listen to the characters anger and frustration. I loved listening to Quinn's dilemma because he was practically raised by the cop that beat Rashad and so he was conflicted on how he was supposed to feel and he grew throughout the book as he learned that was is right isn't always easy. This book filled my itch that I was feeling to reread The Hate U Give and I am so glad that I also go to read this book when I did. I know that there are so many people that can learn from this book or see themselves in this book and I think that it would also be a great book to teach in schools.
