OHHH MY GOOODNESS!! I didn't know what I was getting into when I started!! But hot damn! Was I glued until the end!! Idk what this was Thriller/ fantasy a mixture of both!! But whatever it was I WANT MORE!! this was something I didn't know I needed! The reviews almost turned me away! I'm glad I went ahead and read it anyway!! I was hooked! I agree she could have came up with a better man than pepper-man! Because TF was that! LOL! But other than that! It was AMAZING

Went into this completely blind and I’m glad that I did. I can’t believe it was her debut, it’s very well written and cleverly done.
I still don’t know where I stand on Cassie’s story. I hadn’t even considered the possibility it might actually all be a coping mechanism for her until about half way through and then I started doubting EVERYTHING.
. Overall, an interesting, twisted little book.

Fantastic. Dark fantasy, horror, and thriller, all wrapped in fairytale. The descriptions of nature just burst out of this book. I loved it start to finish, though it's very sad.

Spoiler/Trigger alert...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... There is child molestation that is alluded to but not discribed. Also forced abortion. The story is very twisted and you're not sure what is real and what isn't. There is almost a double story line and you are not sure if the main character is mentally ill and lives in a fantasy world due to being abused or actually sees fairies. Or some of both.
