"Wedding the Wide Receiver" by Lisa Suzanne is a fun, steamy, and unexpected ride that combines a marriage of convenience with the chaos of sibling rivalry and professional football. The story kicks off with Spencer Nash, a pro football player, and Grace Newman, his ex-fiancée’s sister, waking up in a hotel room with wedding clothes scattered everywhere and no memory of how they ended up married. As the hangover clears, the pieces start to fall into place—a secret clause in a will, a massive amount of tequila, and a wedding gown meant for someone else.

Grace and Spencer’s journey from a drunken Vegas wedding to a real, heartfelt relationship is full of twists and turns. The story cleverly jumps back in time to show how Spencer, who was once engaged to Grace’s backstabbing sister, Amelia, ended up in this predicament. The chemistry between Spencer and Grace is undeniable, and their marriage, which begins as a scheme to save the family vineyard and get revenge on Amelia, slowly transforms into something much more genuine.

What makes this book shine is the way it’s written. Lisa Suzanne has a knack for creating characters that you can’t help but root for. Grace is a strong, determined woman who isn’t afraid to go after what she wants, and Spencer is more than just a tough football player—he’s got depth, heart, and a nerdy side that complements Grace perfectly. Their bond is natural and effortless, making their relationship feel authentic despite the unusual circumstances.

Overall, "Wedding the Wide Receiver" is an easy, enjoyable read with fantastic characters and a compelling storyline. It’s a story of love blossoming in the most unlikely of situations, with plenty of humor, heart, and a little bit of drama along the way. If you’re into Vegas marriages, sibling rivalry, and football romance, this one is definitely worth picking up!

This is a delightful romance packed with some of my favorite tropes. I fell hard for Spencer and Grace—their chemistry was undeniable, and Spencer had me swooning from the start.

The story kicks off when Grace proposes a marriage of convenience to Spencer after he breaks up with her sister, Amelia. What follows is a rollercoaster of spicy banter, betrayal, humor, and an emotional love story that will tug at your heartstrings.

This book has it all: a passionate couple, tender love, and plenty of sparks. Despite the obstacles, Spencer and Grace’s bond only grows stronger, making their journey truly heartwarming. Amelia’s antics add drama, but she gets what she deserves, making the story even more satisfying.

Though it’s the second book in the Nast Brothers series, it can be read as a standalone. If you love romance with humor, heat, and heart, Wedding the Wide Receiver is a must-read.

Thank you so much Lisa and Valentine PR for this arc🫶

Best Nash Brother So Far

While I wasn’t a fan of the sibling switch it didn’t bother me as much when you saw how their relationship was genuine from the beginning. I really enjoyed Spencer and how he grounded Gracie. I also enjoyed Gracie’s relationship with her dad. I enjoyed this book more than book one.

Wedding the Wide Receiver gives readers a inside look into the next Nash brother - Spencer and his less than perfect situation at this point in his life.

Okay so let me just start by saying that I loved the concept of this story. The drunken Vegas wedding and the lore of I saw you first, it should have been us all along is great. Plus I LOVE siblings ex/ex's sibling. I think that trope needs to be done MUCH more!!!

But overall, the story fell flat for me. I felt like Grace was extremely immature, and I honestly didn't even want her to get what she wanted by the end. I felt like her family was just way too much drama for me. Truthfully, I felt like this was one of the few stories where both characters digressed.

I wouldn't pick this book up again, but I'm glad I read it to understand yet another Nash brother in this universe.

3.5 Stars- Let me start by saying that I loved the story for Grace and Spencer. The whole drunken Vegas wedding and "we should have met first" was great. I loved how their story progressed.

Enter hateful sister... The games she played with them and the way she treated Grace was just so childish. I also disliked how they grandmother made marriage and babies this stipulation in getting the vineyard when there was clearly the right person that should be chosen. The sister's ex trope was maybe a little much for me as well.

The book was overall cute but I wouldn't read it again.
