I absolutely love reading about a flawed main character, I could relate to Ash, I felt angry at him, I felt angry for him, he made me cry and he made me laugh. Amazing representation of mental illness too. The banter between characters felt really natural as well, which is hard to achieve, in my opinion.

I read this for the first time 2.5 years ago (was it that long? sheesh!) and didn't really liked it, it was okay in my books.
and then I heard on twitter everybody talking about this book as the best thing ever and thought I would read it again because what if I was wrong?
well, I wasn't exactly wrong. writing is really good, but this is to be expected when you read from pov of an author who went to Oxford and quotes Shakespeare? so that's why I wasn't impressed as everyone else was. and since we see everything from Ash's perspective I really didn't like how he saw Darian even though by the end Ash had the revelation that he loved Darian.
I still will give this one 4 stars because second half of the book where Ash finally forced to interact with people and people's reactions to him are so wild to him. also the fact that he realizes that he's not his mental illness and his jokes around it are really encapsulate the experience (at least for me)

Great writing, very relatable mental health representation, funny section titles, characters are realistically flawed for a romance book
