Parts of this book were amusing, but I think it's overrated. I liked The Devils of Loudoun, but after reading this I'm starting to think Aldous Huxley had a bit of a Madonna-Whore Complex and a self-flagellation kink. It's also a pretty gross reflection of what eugenics looks like through the extremely racist lens of the time, and so there is a lot of pretty offensive language and depictions of minorities. That's not to say it shouldn't be read, I just think there are better dystopian classics.

The most problematic book I‘ve read, probably ever. I know it‘s dystopian and when it was written, but that doesn‘t make it okay. Still promoting this as a classic is ridiculous.
