Sadly this just wasn't for me. There are a few great poems in this collection but I really didn't like the writing style. I guess I'm just used to the poetic format of more spoken word poetry so this type of rhyming poetry just didn't click with me. It often felt like the poem was written around the words that rhymed instead of telling a story.
