What I appreciated most about this was the parallels to Macbeth. We have a strong, ambitious woman, who marries an equally ambitious man. He is not as morally corrupt as her, however. Parts did bore me, but other parts were somewhat exciting. It took me forever to get through, but I have to say, the plot and characters were artfully developed.
