mi aspettavo decisamente di più da questa lettura, che per quanto non sia risultata cattiva, non è riuscita però ad approfondire abbastanza l'argomento della rape culture per risultare pienamente soddisfacente.

Questo libro è più un insieme di bravi racconti autobiografici scritti da persone che sono state vittime di violenza carnale in diversi momenti della loro vite e che hanno subito gli effetti della cultura dello stupro che ci circonda in maniera diversa. 
Essendo scritti da diverse persone e non adeguatamente editata, l'opera non risulta coesa, cosa che influisce negativamente anche sul messaggio generale del libro.

Sono fortunatamente presente anche qualche storie che approfondiscono maggiormente, anche se probabilmente senza un vero desiderio di fare ciò alla base, il tema in questione. In particolare, sotto questo punto di vista, ho apprezzato la storia dell'avvocatessa. 

In generale direi che l'opera aveva la potenzialità di essere un approfondimento necessario e interessante su un tema attuale, ma purtroppo la struttura della stessa non ha permesso ad essa di entrare nel vero nocciolo della questione.

Absolutly profound. I was apprehensive at first due to my SA in the past but through the pieces I found validation and tiny snippets of hope. I loved this book. I will definitely reread.
