I feel like I heard a lot of really great things about this book. It was good. It was really witty lol. The characters were cute and funny. Some things I feel like it went really fast by.

Grumpy bad boy Knox has a name for himself for protecting the town and being brooding. When he first meets Naomi, he is yelling in her face. She is a sunshine, loving, charming person who always take care of others. She is picking up the pieces of her twin sisters mess again and Knox can’t help falling in love with her.

They both have baggage. Unless you are willing to unpack baggage, it always gets in the way.

All the side characters are AMAZING.

This was an amazing read and I loved the character growth. We get to follow along and connect with the FMC as she faces the many problems caused by her sister and saves herself and her niece. The MMC is the perfect example of a strong, supportive partner who feels overwhelmed and scared but eventually recognizes the error of his words and actions. Absolutely loved every second.

This book was everything I love: grumpy/sunshine small-town slow burn romance. Added bonus of some not-so-hardcore crime. I freaking love this book. So much banter and longing and humor.
