The absolute BEST part of this book had to have been the phone sex! While Gene is deep undercover, he is also carrying on a kind of relationship with his partner, Greg, even though they spent most of the book apart. That makes the moments that they are actually together even sweeter. I loved Greg. He was sweet and geeky and a little overweight, my kind of man!! lol And Gene loved him for who he was. The entire book was enjoyable and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.

4 out of 5 stars

This was a good story and I was glad to actually get to meet Greg who we only saw through phone calls in the first book. Greg and Snake have been working together for five years but have never actually met face to face. While Snake was undercover Greg was his only point of contact and their relationship slowly evolved to much more than that. They have to get over their own fears and open themselves up for a real relationship.

We were able to see how both of these characters were feeling and their thoughts in this book which helped to stay connected to them. Greg buries his fears and insecurities deep and it takes a lot for him to feel comfortable letting others really see the real him. Snake has almost forgotten who he is beneath the biker he has been portraying for years but hopes that Greg will help him find it when they have finally gotten the bad guy. While their connection was great most of the story was focused more on finally closing this case and I felt that it overshadowed their budding relationship.

The cover art by Andrew Reyna is great, giving a visual of Greg and follows the pattern for the series.

Ahhhh,... hear that? That is me sighing with happiness over this book. A story, a real honest to goodness detailed story in a book.. finally. I've been reading so many books lately that have been, well to say it nicely nothing but "sexfest" books that the actual story gets lost between all the sex going on. NOT saying that's a bad thing but sometimes you need a good story along with the great sex and this book, Talk Dirty to Me, gives you that. It pulls you in and keeps your attention on every single page.
Danger, compassion, humor, body issues, mystery and real true love are all the things wrapped up in this book and damn don't they all work so well together telling such a fantastic story.
How Jessie doesn't gloss over Greg's issues with his weight and what he thinks his body looks like to others is very refreshing. What is even more refreshing is Gene (Snake) loves Greg for himself, mind and body issues included. Gene has loved him for years and knows that telling Greg his body doesn't bother him is not going to work with Greg, he needs to prove the point in loving actions making Greg know and realize that Gene does love all of him.
Oh man the humor, I laugh over everything Ty (Tricking Chase)says and his nicknames are always so perfect for the person he is now gracing with a nickname. I love it when he calls Ric (Past Hurts), Fancy Pants.
Another thing I love about Jessie's books is how she brings in the characters for the next book in the series and sets up little teasers for their upcoming books, like Carlos and Mateo. Holy crap I can't wait to read about what's really going on between these two and what's with the past between Carlos and Cesar (Mateo's dad). Seriously Jessie is the Queen of Teasers!!
I'm not going to be disloyal to MY two men Chris (Safety in Numbers) and Saul (The Protector) but I have to admit that sexy ginger Eugene "Snake" Perfetto officially moved up the favorites list from these two series. He did not bump either out of the way but his sweet, loyal loving ways certainly moved him up really close.

Snake is a secret DEA agent in deep with the Devils Pride MC. The mission is to bring down the head of the Miami drug trade. This is where he finds himself partnered with the club’s volatile and secretive SA instead. Both doing things that neither of them really want to do. Snake consists Trick one of his best friend. He’ll do anything to repair that his lies did to their relationship. Even though they were out of necessity. Snake needs someone at his back. Snake’s contact with the DEA has him tied in knots and lusting after him. His voice and the inappropriate comments do something to Snake. But Greg is very skittish and isn't willing to commit to a date with Snake. Snake knows just how lonely life and a double agent can ve and he isn't willing to let this shot at happiness go because Greg is scarce. Greg knows he isn't anyone's first choice. A GQ model he is not. He isn't normally brave but he knows that Snake needs some help not getting lost undercover, and it's no hardship flitting with the sexy ginger. Greg is terrified that Snake will run screaming from him when they finally meet face to face. Now that the DEA has called him home there is no more running for Greg.

Snake and Greg’s story is so beautifully written. My heart was emotionally attached ro Snake is the first book. I was so excited when i figured out this would be good book. I can just hear Greg's voice when he talks to Snake. Like its that descriptive. At least to me it was. I was suckes into a world of deugs, bikers, alpha men, shy men, and a relationship just on the brink of start up when everything goes down. It leaves you reeling in a way. Snake i picture as the typical cocky bad boy. Like he knows that he can have anyone but he feel in love with Greg's voice. Greg oh my sweet nerdy man. I hated how he put himself down when obviously Snake already loved him. Having already fallen in love with his voice i don't think, no i know that whatever he looked like didn't matter. Can you imagine a “relationship” with someone's voice for 5 years. Yeah that voice would be in my fantasies all the time too. I love how Greg was a normal man. That the author showed us that men have body issues also. I think as women and people in general forget that they are human too with issues just like us. It was so beautiful to read. I loved how this took place in the aftermath of book one.

For me i feel like they can't be read as standalones so please pick them up together and enjoy an amazing read.

I’m going to start my review by being a bit unfair to the main characters of this book…I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Ty, Snake and Ric together. They are the perfect trio to entertain the hell out of me. Snake is almost as funny as Ty when they’re together and they feed off each other perfectly. Throw in Ric’s dry wit and they almost steal the limelight in this story.

We already know Snake pretty well from book 1 in the series so we don’t learn too much this time around. He’s a major bada$$ and he’s a loner so being part of a team is different for him. It takes time for him to adapt to not running solo. He is pretty great with Greg and I loved the scene when they first met face to face.

Greg suffers from some pretty bad body image issues and lacks self-confidence. He’s a major nerd and has always been a behind the scenes so he’s a bit awkward around people. It’s hard for him to understand why Gene loves him as he is and takes a while to fully believe it. Even though he and Chase get off to a rocky start (and I melted a little bit during their first scene…Chase can still break my heart) Chase ends up being a pretty great support person for Greg. He helps him put some perspective on his body issues.

In the end, these two are a completely unique but amazing couple that I'm anxious to see more from.

As always, the Mistress of Teasing gives us some major foreshadowing for Carlos and Mateo’s story and that stands to be a pretty great story.

Overall another great read in this series and I cannot wait for the next one!

Lordy the dirty talk in this one is explosive

Book two in the MC spin off from the Sizzling Miami series has Snake trying to root out traitors in the DEA as well as hunting down Durango's brother.

Helping in the fight is his handler, nicknamed the phone sex guy because of his sexy voice, and they've built up a powerful relationship during the five years he's been undercover.

I loved the dynamic between Snake/Gene and Greg, their phone sex is amongst the hottest I've read and they have a powerful emotional connection to each other.

The criminal element of this book is also well paced and ties up a lot of the leftover loose ends from the sister series. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with the two MCs and with Carlos and Mateo hopefully.
