Full disclosure: I received this as an advanced copy for an honest review. This was definitely a step up from the first book, “Insanity.” I feel the characters were more developed and there was a lot more mystery and intrigue. Who is this mysterious benefactor trying to influence the outcome of the trial? How does he know Jeremy? Those questions and more kept me turning the pages. I was also pleased with the author’s research into the different mental illnesses mentioned in the book. They were spelled out in great detail and allow the reader to understand what someone with that specific mental illness experiences from day to day. I’m looking forward to the third installment.
