“Ignore the fact that what you saw those black points expand with… was love.”
This was so grim and intense I loved every second of it.

I have to give props to Greg Capullo, because his amazing illustrations left me speechless- it truly is the creepiest Batman art I have ever seen. As for the story arc, I thought it was well-written and clever, albeit way too short. Scott Snyder explores the Batman-Joker relationship in a manner never seen before; less talk, more psychological horror! Overall a satisfying read; good, not great.

This is one of the few graphic novels that was actually fucked up to me, and that actually held a pretty good and meaningful plot. Sometimes, some graphic novels are a little too comical, with very artificial speech, but this one wasn’t. It was fucked up, sure, but it also explored the Batman and Joker’s relationship outside of the fist fighting. I didn’t really understand the end, though, nor the deeper meanings but I knew there was something significant that happened lol.

After reading Batgirl, coming to this answers so many questions.
But dear god, there are so many unanswered. Seriously, someone in the universe tell me where I can find the rest of my unanswered questions about this. What am I missing? Pretty freaking please?
I can't believe how much I am digging this Batman series. I highly suspected my love for Batgirl was already built on my love for strong female characters. But hey, I might actually be able to enjoy comic books.
I mean, not Batwoman, CLEARLY, but whatever.
