Gran obra teatral sobre el mundo del teatro, su magia; todo aquello que hace posible que un personaje hecho girones acabe interpretando con maestría a otros personajes que no son él, pobre hombre desvalido, alcohólico suicida, niño perdido y, a pesar de todo ello, sumo sacerdote capaz de quemar su alma en aras a dársela a sus personajes. Un hombre perdido y recuperado por el sacrificio de otros dos personajes de igual relieve, su esposa y su director teatral en la obra, que actúa como telón de fondo de la que realmente vemos en escena. 
Personajes excelentes y precisas anotaciones para interpretarlos. Clifford Odets fue un grande, a la altura de Tennessee Williams.

I have mixed feelings about this play. Firstly it creates three good parts and the version I listened to had good actors fill those roles. On the otherhand it felt like a tired theme a once talented drunk trying to make it big again. Also it felt a bit dated particularly how we are supposed to take the lead hitting an actress during the performance.

If you are looking for an engaging, easy to follow play then this is a good hit but it is completely missable and wont change or even impact your life in any way.
