Total honesty...the first few chapters had me thinking about dnf'ing...but I decided to push through a bit more and started to get a little more invested in Dess and the story.
A lot of mystery surrounds Dess and her upbringing but its giving Dark Angel vibes...trained from a young age to be the perfect assassin...
Still not fully invested but I am intrigued so I plan to start book 2 soon.

Interesting and mysterious story. Got me hooked. Can't wait to find out more and see the relationships develop as we get to know Dess and the guys.
