I’ve had this book on my kindle for a while now. I don’t know why I took so long to read it. This is a slow burn enemies to lovers romance. There are so many questions that I need answers to. Excuse me while I go download the next book.

This was a fun one! Just a well-written, campy action book. There was some sexual tension and one spicy scene a little over halfway through, but mostly it was about character development and discovery, and action, action, action.

This is the second series I’ve read from a Harlow King and Eva Chance collaboration, the first being Crooked Paradise, and I’m really enjoying it.
Dead is a bit naive, but that’s to be expected. There’s not a lot as far the dynamic between everyone just yet, but I can see the beginnings of what’s to come. It’s enjoyable enough to read the next one.
