Interesting look at the time and events from one perspective. Also, while we may not be actually beheading and burning folks any longer (in the West at any rate), it's nice to see that terrible leaders bent on self destruction under the illusion that they are blessed with the grace of a higher power is nothing new. Perhaps disappointing that we don't seem to have made much progress in 500 years.
