MAKE ME WANT definitely feels more like traditional harlequin series books rather than Katee Robert's more recent books. While the romance was very sexy and I really liked Lucy as our heroine, there were just a few too many annoying pieces that brought down my rating. A big factor was Gideon who was a bit too alpha possessive male for me personally and every time he tried to control what Lucy wore or did I wanted to scream. Also, I would get so frustrated when they would go from communicating really well to suddenly making a ton of assumptions and not talking. Throw in some absolutely terrible advice from the hero's best friend, I was just glad this was on the shorter side.

Ultimately, I don't think I'm the general audience for this book so if you like a growly, possessive hero and a sweet heroine still finding her confidence then you may like this one. While the plot didn't work for me I can't deny that Robert knows how to write and her books are always sexy.

Dang it Katee Robert you are turning me into a contemporary romance lover!

Super fun, quick, and dirty read! The chemistry between the two is dynamite. I’m a sucker for the Alpha-male which Gideon is for sure! I’m excited to see Roman and Alex will be getting their own books too!

As well as Becka! I’m so curious what mischief my favorite blue haired hilariously blunt sister will get into!
Then there is Jeff who needs to die a slow painful death for the emotional abuse he put Lucy through!

Lucy is such an honest representation of a lot of women! They have it all together at work! Confidence in her career but she is scared and intimidated by love and relationships!

But most importantly they lived HEA😁

Ah yes, the joys of dealing with guilt. Friends to not to client? It sounds odd but this is anything but...

Make Me Want is a friends to client with benefits book. Or maybe it's a fairytale? He's wanted her forever. She wants his help. Guilt compelled him to do as she asks. Her desire keeps her going back for more.

This steamy, lusty affair is going to keep you busy and engaged. Straying from these pages while reading is not likely, no, because Make Me Want does just that.

Listen I was on board until the last page. It felt rushed and uncharacteristic of both of the main characters- Specifically what they said.
