MMC was an irredeemable puke. And his sisters were kind of gross too. I liked Iris in the other books and was excited to hear her story, but she deflated in this story.

Enjoyable story, though I wanted to kick Sir Richard where it counts.

I see I am not the only one who was disappointed with these characters. Wow. I am still amazed. I love alpha males, but this guy, well, the whole situation was ridiculous. He was not alpha, and he was not a smarmy character, but there wasn't much to like about him. I couldn't quite but myself in her shoes, either, but maybe I'm just too modern and independent to see things her way.
