I love KB Worlds Everyday Heroes series! It lets me experience new authors and I love that. Jo-Anne Joseph has written a beautifully emotional story about two flawed characters that are actually perfect for each other.
Ember is all alpha but in the best way, and as all alphas do this man has layers, the question is, will he be willing to pull back the layers and let Shelby in? And Shelby is a strong mom and widow, is she willing to put herself out there for the love of another cocky fireman?
This story is written so well you are going to feel like you are sitting down with them at Digs having a beer and playing some pool.
