Maria Ressa is an extraordinary person and her story alone is worth the read. Her journey highlights the risks we all face in this scapegoat ridden era without agreeable truth under widespread populist attack.
Appropriate that I finished this novel shortly after the anniversary of Paul Revere’s ride.

Maria Ressa is incredible but I struggled a bit with some of the narrative arcs. Something really personal and then something really technical. But hers is a story worth knowing.
