Lord almighty dude. I trudged through this so hard because so many folks have said it gets better in the second book, but I had such a hard time finishing this one. In my opinion, the writing style is really not great and the story was not very compelling. :< Somehow though, for reasons I cannot understand, I did not give this one star. Don’t ask me where the second star comes from, I don’t know.
I already own ACOMAF, so I’ll be starting that after I finish a few other books. I’m trusting yall :’>

I have mixed feeling about this book. The writing was great. It kept me reading although I found the plot weak or you can say it didn't interest me enough. I hoped it was more interesting than the way it is
the last 10 chapters made up for all that world building
