I actually really liked this. I had heard so many mixed opinions on this series, but it's better to get your own opinion and honestly this paid off. I really loved the relationship between tamlin and Feyre, abd honestly I loved every character! I am giving this book 4 stars because I feel like feyre was a little annoying at times when she didn't listen to others, and I got a little discouraged from reading when we got under the mountain, but I pushed through and enjoyed the ending, although I wish it lasted a little longer to make it worth while.
LOVE TAMLIN he is my man. Lucien is everything and I love alis. And honestly I can get on board with rhysand (although now again I don't know much about the next books, but I see what rhysand did as more problematic than what tamlin did). Anyway, everything with Tamlin was so cute ugh, I love him sorry.

I will definitely read the next books, which I don't know anything about, but if they make me hate tamlin I will not be happy.

This book- phew! It definitely started out as a slow burn but once it picks up, it picks UP.

Compelling, but ultimately kind of the worst of both worlds - mediocre fantasy, and less than mediocre spice.

So I would give this a different rating, depending on if this is your first time experiencing ACOTAR vs if you are listening to the graphic audio after having read this traditionally or listening to the unabridged audiobook

As an initial exposure, it cuts out too much of the character development and world building, but some people feel the first half of the original book really drags to the point that it loses some people where they don't continue. And miss out on the rest of this amazing series, which this definitely doesn't. So I would give it a 2.75 or 3 if you've never read this in another form.

For those of us who have already read ACOTAR and I are using this as a refresher or just to experience it differently, i think the faster speed made it a much more enjoyable re-read, so I'd give it a 4.

This is only my second time experiencing ACOTAR and it was nice to be reminded of why
I liked nesta before she got on my nerves before I liked her again, of how Lucien was my love interest in this book, and felt like seeing an old friend reading about the Suriel.
