I wanted to read this book before I watched the movie. Its more of a dictionary for the magical creatures in J.K. Rowling’s magical world.
I shan’t include any spoilers or reveal definitions, however, I will say that there were two creatures in this particular updated version of this book that I had reactions to. Firstly, the lethifold is by far the most disturbing and creepy creature within Rowling’s magical world in my opinion Secondly, the puffskein sure has... unique demands for their pallet. My reaction to the was the following: “eek!”
This version also came with a new foreword, which I found very interesting. The introduction was fascinating, giving a look into other parts of this magical world. A must-read for every Harry Potter fan. 5 out of 5 stars.
