Little bits of backstory for Vox Machina (C1), which I really enjoyed.

I started watching C1 when the cast was running their second campaign. So while I already had a good idea of how they interacted and what to expect, it was somewhat hard to follow along. They started streaming C1 at level 9, so it's cool to get pieces of their backstory which we didn't get to see on stream in this format. These volumes are a nice extra on how they got together.

It was really really cool to see how the group got together and how they treated each other in the beginning, and it gives a lot of good context to their interactions in C1

Amazing comic so beautifully written by the both Matts (Colville and Mercer). For someone who has only followed campaign 2, its a beautiful introduction to the characters of campaign 1 and it makes me personally excited to watch campaign 1.

As a Critical Role fan, I had a feeling I’d enjoy finally reading this story. I was right. But I didn’t enjoy it just because I’m a fan of the show. It’s an excellent comic series! The art is beautiful, the storytelling excellent, and the characters engaging. I really hope we get a follow-up that continues the story.

I've skipped Vox Machina and started with the Mighty Nein~ BUT i'm so happy critical role is so well received to make something so splendid for me read because I just can not start something so long that isn't a one and done type of podcast/youtube situation. So, omg yes...this is beautiful.

This isn't really an exciting volume for me but I love the art and I know roughly where this story goes and judging from this first volume it's going to get really really good! This was a quality graphic novel and the art is so fucking rad.

Keeping my eyes on this for sure!
