So many twists and turns. It moved so fast. Cam is a huge dick and has no redeeming qualities. Ashley is a pushover. Did not like.

ALL THE STARS!!!!

Wow this book played with my emotions!!!! I swear I have never cried (yet) while reading a book...but this book ALMOST got me. It was so emotional and angsty and passionate. Gah it is definitely one of my favorite reads so far.

This book was written in 1st person. Mostly dual pov, however a third character had a pov like 2 times.

Okay this review will not give away any spoilers! I know most of my reviews have a complete plot review, but I really don't want to give away all the special emotional details of this book!

I didn't see this book being majorly hyped on goodreads, which is completely shocking to me!! I definitely recommend this book too all readers who enjoy emotional contemporary romances! The plot development was amazing. It definitely had me on my toes the entire time. I did not find one dull moment during the whole book! Also, the characters are so beautifully created and unique in their own way. Ashley is such a strong protective mother, but she is also a hopeless romantic with a great sense or humor. Cameron (Dr. Stanton) is very intelligent and dedicated to his job, but deep down he is looking for someone who stimulate his mind and sees him as something deeper than arm candy. Oh, and the smut in this book was a definite 10/10!

I absolutely loved this story. It was long but perfect to read over the holidays.
A beautiful rendition of insta-love, lost love, found love, and a whole lot of misunderstanding and miscommunication.
The characters were so well created and so real and life like, I felt I was totally witnessing this relationship play out.
Thoroughly entertained!

T.L. Swan is a writing genius for me and this book is pure gold. However, I was so angry in part of this novel. I NEVER give away spoilers so I can't really go into details of why my anger burned bright. I will say, it would have taken much longer and much more serious groveling for me to ever move past a certain action. I can understand on some levels, but man was I pissed off. I was angry at Cameron and angry at Ashley. I had the dual slap/slap going on.

If one of the determining factors of a great read is emotion.... this is soooooo great. This author can really find the flaws in the human condition and show them in all their naked glory. It's just brilliant! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Update: I hate this fucking book. Everything is wrong here. Don’t know what I was thinking before. Cam is the scum of the earth.

Gosh I love that cover.....

I have read a few of TL Swan's books. Really liked one book, others pissed me off. But I knew this writer would potentially have some books that I would like. I kinda read the Stanton series before and didn't like it so I was worried that this book might follow the same tune.

Imagine my surprise when this book genuinely turned out to be amazing. It had insta love but somehow the author incorporated a beautiful connection between Cam and Ash despite their physical relationship at the beginning. And the characters were great, a little extra but I love them nonetheless.

Also they spoke French and German in bed. How hot is that!!

TL Swan's books always consist of the super alpha hero, a snarky heroine, a lot of push and pull, fighting and make-up. Which would usually annoy me but she does it very well. Albeit, in two books for me so far. Because after reading [b:Mr. Masters|40222694|Mr. Masters (Mr. Series, #1)|T.L. Swan|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1527449344l/40222694._SY75_.jpg|61405433], I realized how this author's characters and writing vary in different books. Nonetheless, I have hopes for her next books.

Oh, did I mention I loved this book?

When I started reading this book, I initially really enjoyed it, but when I got about half way through the story really changed.

I found most of the characters childish and annoying and thought they all made really stupid decisions which overall made it not a very enjoyable book to read.

Although Ashley was very childish, I really hated Cameron in parts of it and thought his character was far too entitled and selfish and therefore don’t really think he necessarily deserved redemption.

I initially like the storyline with the club but as the book went on, it seemed to be a device used by the author solely as a way to create an argument between the main characters if they’ve been happy for a bit too long...

I expected good things because enjoyed Mr Masters, but this book was no where near as good.

Hot for Dr.

Ashley and Cameron met in Vegas and pretend that they are married, had a very hot weekend together. He promised to call but lost his phone. Five years later she moves to LA for an internship under a hot cardiologist unbeknownst to her it's the man from Vegas. They never exchanged names back then, so she didn't know who he was.
Their chemistry was still their, but she still had a surprise for him. They have to work through trust issues and the surprises that are thrown their way.
Dr. Stanton is one hot book and they go through so much to be together.

Amo este libro! the whole story is sooooo beautiful. Cameron is one of my favorite characters since I read Mr. Stanton I just couldn't wait to put my hands on this book and I completely love it!

I loved Cam and Ashley so much! They are probably my favorite of all of TL Swan's Characters! I couldn't put these books down, and I highly recommend! These books have everything that you could want in a great romance story!
