This book shows how you can re-purpose old clothes to make them new and unique for you! Kids will gain fun and new ways to alter their well loved clothes!

Moore and Bennett made sustainability so stylin! Bonnie and her mom go to the thrift store to find Bonnie's perfect back-to-school outfit, but everything is too small, too big, too stained, or just doesn't make her feel confident. Each member of the family steps in to help her dye, mend, and embroider the clothes to create a wardrobe limited only by her imagination! LOVED the section in the back that instructs readers how to make their own natural dyes, explains knitting and embroidery, and suggests other ways to express themselves through their clothing.

Such a cute & uplifting story that would be perfect for young readers, especially creative ones! The illustrations are vibrant and really well done, I would have loved looking at this as a kid. Stories that emphasize creativity as problem solving are so important for kids. As an artist myself, kid me would’ve loved to read a beautifully illustrated book that showed the value of my natural skills- as well as a greater message of resourcefulness. Very cute!
